this policy describes how ikompute.com (the "site") handles information when you visit.

what is collected

the site sets no cookies and requires no account. it counts visits in aggregate using a privacy-focused analytics service. each page view records: the page viewed, the referring page, an approximate location (city level), the device type, the operating system, and the browser. a short-lived technical identifier is used to group views within a day and is discarded within 24 hours. it cannot be used to identify you, and nothing tracks you across other websites.

information you provide

if you contact the site by email or submit an application form, the information you choose to send is received and used only to respond to you or to consider your application. it is not sold and it is not shared for advertising.

how information is used

aggregate statistics are used to operate the site and understand overall interest: which pages are viewed, from which regions, on which kinds of devices. correspondence is used to reply to you.

sharing

the site relies on service providers that host it and process aggregate statistics on its behalf. no personal information is sold. no advertising networks are used.

retention

aggregate reporting data is retained for up to 12 months. correspondence is kept only as long as needed for its purpose.

your rights

the site is operated from canada and handles information in accordance with canadian privacy law. you may request access to or correction of personal information held about you, or ask privacy questions, by writing to hello@ikompute.com.

changes

this policy may be updated as the site evolves. the effective date above reflects the latest version.
