this policy explains what this website collects, what we do with anything you send us, and the choices you have. the person responsible for privacy at ikompute™ can be reached at hello@ikompute.com.
what this site collects
this site sets no cookies and uses no advertising or cross-site tracking. our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (ip address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for security and operations, for a short period set by the provider. we use cookieless, aggregate analytics (page views, referrers, country, device type) that do not identify you.
what you send us
if you contact us through our form or by email, we receive what you choose to share: your name, email address, professional background, your written answers, and anything else you include. our form is a channel for professional and collaboration inquiries. it is not a channel for job applications or employment inquiries; submissions of that kind are not assessed and do not receive a response. please do not send sensitive personal, company or organizational information, such as government identifiers, financial or health details, or any data deemed confidential or proprietary.
forms. we use three forms: work with us (collaboration and other inquiries), build with us (developer program applications) and early access (requests to use our app for macos).
what we collect. what you enter: your name, email, links and answers. for the developer program and early access, we also look at the public profile and links you give us, to decide whether and when to invite you.
why. to review your request, decide on invitations and reply to you. we email you only about your request, and never add you to a newsletter or marketing list.
who processes it. tally, the form service, receives your answers on our behalf. our email provider handles the notifications and replies about your request. the people who review requests on our behalf see what you sent and the profile you linked. we do not sell your information or use it for advertising.
how long. for as long as reasonably needed to decide and follow up on your request, or as the law requires. ask us to delete it sooner at hello@ikompute.com.
how we use it
we use what you send to identify you, to review and assess your message and any request in it, to reply where we choose to, to evaluate potential collaborations, and to keep records of the inquiry. we do not sell personal information, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not send marketing messages without your express consent.
who processes it
the services that operate this site and our inquiries process information on our behalf: hosting, analytics, email and form providers. they process data in the united states and the european union. we share personal information only with providers who process it for us, or where the law requires.
how long we keep it
we keep inquiry records only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above or as the law requires, and we delete them when you ask. server logs and analytics are kept under the providers' own schedules.
security
we use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. if a breach creates a real risk of significant harm to you, we will notify you and the applicable regulator as the law requires.
your rights
you can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, withdraw your consent, or ask us to delete it by emailing hello@ikompute.com. you may also complain to the office of the privacy commissioner of canada. if you are a california resident, you have the right to know, delete and correct personal information and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights; we do not sell or share personal information as california law defines those terms. this site does not track you across other sites, so a "do not track" signal changes nothing about how it treats you.

this site and our forms are for people 18 and over. we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
